Soft tissue injury, back pain, neck/shoulder stiffness bothers so much in the daily living. Sciatic, finger numbness, scoliosis, pelvic tilt, all are complex and the treatment is based on precise assessment. Anatomy knowledge, clinical palpation experience, and magic finger touching, Jim is able to assess varieties of soft tissue injuries and conditions, make reasonable solutions and treatment plan.

Combining massage and Chinese Tuina techniques, especially Chinese GongFu practice build up Jim’s adequacy of unique technique and deep penetration to lose tight muscle, break down tissue knot and release myofascial tension/pain.

In clinic treatment practicing, Jim has experienced varieties of acute and chronic soft tissue injuries and conditions, also symptoms including scoliosis, pelvic tilt, lumbosacral soreness, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, neck and shoulder syndrome, tension headache, finger numbness, frozen shoulder, TMJ disorder/jaw pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, elbow/knee pain, and Achilles tendon strain.

As a Chinese Gongfu enthusiast, Jim is eager to assist clients in remedial exercise, self rehabilitation, and stress relief by sharing the skills of Tai Chi, meditation and stretch exercises, as well as body posture rebuild. Jim has found scoliosis and back tension in Canada are quite common and mostly related to posture.
